Rocna bow compatibility

Some time ago I requested info on adapting bow roller to work with Rocna anchor with a bowsprit. Here is the way I decided to handle it. The large bow roller and the extender (as well as lots more rigging stuff aboard) is from Port Townsend Foundry, Port Townsend, Washington USA). The roller unit is stock pattern and the extender I roughed out the concept, shape and size and the pattern maker there made it appropriate for casting (and prettier). The boat has a housing bowsprit to help with marina space, and is retracted in most of the pix. So far in a few anchorages in the San Juans and up through the Gulf Islands, and Vancouver Island to home base near Nanaimo, the Rocna has been easy to set and provided a feeling of confidence holding.
